Job Description


The TMX Finance® Family of Companies is looking for a Benefits Analyst to join our team and assist team members in understanding the organization’s benefits offerings. As a Senior Benefits Analyst, you will communication directly with all benefit carriers to provide timely response and resolution to employees that participate in Company offered benefits. Your ability to guide and educate employees in effective use of their benefits will increase employee satisfaction and assist in reducing claims costs.


Essential duties & responsibilities


Communicate with all employees in understanding the organizations benefits offerings and acts as a liaison between the organization and third-party benefits providers


Conducts orientation or enrollment meetings, advises on eligibility, costs, and coverage, and provides information for use in memos, presentations, or other benefits communications


Direct claims processing and eligibility for short/long term disability, hospital indemnity, accident, critical illness and life insurance.


Assist in audits and maintenance of benefits and 401(k) information within UltiPro and benefits admin systems.


Oversee insurance premium “catch-up” schedules and calculations for employees that are on an approved leave of absence


Oversee processing for all Qualified Medical Child Support Orders


Oversee design of the benefits wellness newsletter and playlist


Contribute to managing annual open enrollment and various wellness events throughout the year for benefits programs

Job Requirements

Minimum qualifications

  • 0-3 years of Benefits/Human Resources experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Must be able to maintain confidential information and be familiar with HIPAA and other regulations pertaining to confidential health Information
  • Demonstrate a broad understanding of self-insured plans, ERISA, Section 125, Flex Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts and 401(k) plans
  • Proficiency in UltiPro reporting
  • Proven experience with effective time management, prioritizing and meeting deadlines as well as ability to maintain and project professionalism, internally and externally.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
