Essential Duties and Responsibilities


Provide daily oversight, coaching, and leadership to a team of business analysts across multiple product portfolios.


Oversee all processes during the SDLC where the business analysis team will intervene.


Review and provide guidance on the development of business, functional and system requirements; to ensure adherence to best practices and consistency, including requirements solicitation and expectations, and on meeting quality and deadline needs. This includes documents for Agile and Waterfall methodologies such as: business requirements documents (BRDs), user stories, process flows and sequence diagrams.


Ensure that the business analysis team is aware of overlapping requirements amongst portfolios and guide on when and how to incorporate them in the current body of requirements.


Report status of business analysis deliverables to upper management.


Coordinate with Product Managers to understand project priorities by portfolio and allocate BA resources according to project complexity, BA expertise and availability.


Define team documentation repositories and establish processes to create and maintain them.


Communicate to stakeholders, QA and Development management on specific requirements in progress.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or other related field
  • 10-14 years of experience working in a business analyst role
  • 4 years in a related leadership position
  • Experience with software development lifecycles (both Agile and Waterfall)
  • Exceptional business analysis skills
  • Strong knowledge of requirements gathering and elicitation
  • Leadership and mentoring abilities
  • Ability to plan and manage team's capacity against product roadmaps
  • Experience with Requirements Management Tools
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
