Job Description

As Director of Performance Analytics, you would help the executive leadership team to develop and manage the corporate operational functions of the organization, acting as liaison between Operations and our Business Intelligence team.  The focus would be on operational compliance, analysis, and audit of a variety of operational processes.

Using SQL, Excel, and other reporting platforms you would absorb data and create reports that direct the strategies of the organization.  Your strategic thinking and analytical mind would ensure the performance of our stores and be a backbone of our business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As a leader on the Operations Performance team, you will be integral in developing your team and partnering with multiple departments. Maintaining cross departmental trust while adding value to the organization is vital.

Facilitate the audit and documentation of store operational policies and procedures while maintaining corporate compliance, procedures, and controls consistent with the mission and strategic goals of the organization.

Analyze findings and provide recommendations for an executable plan of improvement in struggling business areas.

Liaise with store operators and the corporate teams, working with department heads to develop and maintain annual budgets, keeping monetary spending within the parameters of the committed budget.

Evaluate business risks to help improve and streamline the underlying corporate business processes, ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of corporate operations relating to the stores.

Oversee the management and implementation of process or system changes, preparing reports, records, and analyses as required.

Collaborate with the Operational Staffing team to serve as a check and balance for accurate store hiring and employee distribution practices.

Facilitate corporate growth strategy to include brand management and creation of future programs and product offerings, implementing product life-cycle strategies to help facilitate store operators transition to new products and technologies (in conjunction with the Product Management Team).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of relevant corporate operations experience, including financial/operational audit responsibility
  • Retail or Financial Operations a plus
  • Experience implementing field and corporate controls, policies, procedures, and compliance
  • Experience with financial management responsibility, including P&L, budget, and process audit
  • Strong sense of discretion, judgment, tact, and poise in handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Performance-driven mindset
  • Numbers-driven and strongly analytical
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; exceptional Excel and reporting skills
  • Proficient use of SQL and additional Analytics Platform (SAS, Tableau or other similar platform)
