Executive Assistant, Operations Coordinator

 

Savannah, Georgia

 

 

The Executive Assistant, Ops Coordinator will provide a full range of support to the Legal Department. This individual must have strong attention to detail, the ability to handle multiple projects and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. This is a fast paced, stimulating environment which requires enthusiasm and an eagerness to learn. Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer with dotted line responsibilities to the General Counsel, this individual will provide, among other things, administrative support to the Legal, Compliance, Bankruptcy and Government Relations teams on various matters brought to the Legal Department by other departments, in addition to other administrative tasks as assigned.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Compose a variety of correspondence; ensure all business communications are well-written, professional, timely and effective.

 

Assist with development, implementation and enhancement of department processes. Assist with project management, including preparation of timelines and with various litigation as necessary.

 

Collaborate with Legal Department personnel and schedule meetings, and other administrative duties as may be assigned.

 

Process and maintain legal files and invoices.

 

Coordinate and arrange travel as necessary, and process expense reports.

 

Manage physical and electronic records. Management duties include corporate books and contract databases.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-5 years experience in an administrative role.
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Associates degree.
  • Experience in a corporate/law firm environment.
