The TMX Finance® Family of Companies is looking to kick off the New Year with adding a Hyperion Administrator to the team in our Carrollton, TX corporate office. This role leveraging both finance and systems process skills to design and develop specific tools with regards to Financial Reporting, such as Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and Oracle BI systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set up, monitor, and close PBCS for each forecast, budget, and month-end cycle
  • Investigate ERP data mapping issues and conduct routine maintenance
  • Enhance and maintain all automated processed and report distribution
  • Design, document, test and maintain all Planning and Essbase metadata and automation
  • Participate in the design, development and implementation of new system functionalities to power users and end-users and provide training on Planning and Essbase to end-users
  • Recommend and develop practices which will drive more consistent and efficient processes based on work with key stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot issues in a production environment as part of production support, assisting with daily/monthly maintenance and operations of the EPBCS and Financial Reporting
  • Prepare the system for the monthly reporting process, including data preparation, process management
  • Manage user security
  • Provide training on Planning and Essbase applications to end-users
  • Create and update existing documentation to appropriately represent system changes
  • Manage the development and maintenance of web forms, data grids, task lists and other templates
  • Develop and maintain reports using Hyperion Financial Reporting Studio and Smart View
  • Manage Data Management mappings to correspond with metadata changes
  • Research and coordinate resolution of system-related issues with the IT and Oracle support
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable change management processes and procedures including internal controls
  • Monitor monthly patches to ensure system compatibility
  • Work with consultants to implement reporting applications in OAC

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required in Finance, Accounting or business administration.
  • 5-7+ years’ experience of relevant Finance and IT work experience including, but not limited to consolidation and reporting, financial close process, and comprehensive technical skills with server administration, networking relational databases.
  • Experience with building a variety of complex reports, testing report functionality, system optimization and administering reports.
  • Prior system implementation experience is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in a lead role, guiding and mentoring internal cross-functional teams.
  • Must possess strong customer focus and command skills and be comfortable implementing change and dealing with ambiguity.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Dual degree in Information Systems is helpful
  • Past experience working in a consumer finance or multi-unit retail company is a plus
  • Prefer individuals with prior financial experience previously as an end user or system administrator
  • Data Management or FDMEE administration experience preferred
  • PowerShell skills a plus
  • PBCS administration experience preferred
  • Planning and Forecasting application experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative and resolve complex problems with little intervention from management
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Well organized and detail oriented with strong analytic, problem-solving skills and user troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multi-task with and meet project deadlines
  • Should be able to establish solid working relationships with stakeholders and build cross functional relationships throughout the organization and with vendors, when applicable
  • Should be able to communicate with peers, customers and vendors both via verbal and written communication
