Job Description


TMX Finance® Family of Companies is seeking a Sr. Analyst, Vendor Management to join the corporate office in Carrollton, TX. The Sr. Analyst, Vendor Management, will be a key member of the Accounting, Treasury and Finance organization reporting to the Director of Vendor Management. They will be responsible for assisting in the planning, support and management of the technology roadmap, primarily focusing on the following business processes: Vendor relationships, Departmental expenditures, Contractual knowledge and monitoring adherence and invoice validation. They will work in partnership with key stakeholders to assist in develop and monitor key vendor relationships to meet both current and future business needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide financial guidance and support for mission-critical vendor transactions

Build critical working relationships with internal organizational leaders and key 3rd party vendors through gathering a thorough understanding of the business models, contractual service level agreements and key processes employed.

Effective management of projects and tasks assigned to the team, including communicating weekly status to senior management.

Provide meaningful analytics including trend analysis, cost savings modeling and bid analysis to support senior management in decision making.

Support and consult with organizational leaders on competitive bidding processes for existing and new providers with a view of financial considerations.

Collaborate and manage subscription lifecycle, renewals and updates across IT and other functional areas and with key stakeholders.

Contribute ideas and process improvement efficiencies to support the vendor management team as it works towards continuous improvements in its business processes.

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • 3+ years of relevant vendor management experience
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently and handle numerous deliverables simultaneously while delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal and external customers at all levels to assess business requirements, and to plan, manage and deliver stable, reliable and cost-effective technology solutions.
  • Experience creating, analyzing and maintaining management reporting and financial justification.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, creative thinker with ability to simplify concepts and create documents as needed to assist purchasing decisions.
  • Must be comfortable with frequently changing priorities.
  • Ability to communicate succinctly and efficiently while working across enterprise functions (ex, IT Finance, IT PMO, Legal and Procurement) and Senior Leadership.
  • Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) and/or Oracle experience
  • Good understanding of accepted operational and financial business practices.
